Haunted is the nickname for an uncommon condition that effects transeers, although it is more common in those that are not natural-born. The condition itself entails a "third" sub-conscious (referred to as the "Shadow"), where the other two are the Dream Guide and the sub-conscious that remains after the initial split.
For all intents and purposes, the Shadow is rogue, and has its own interests that are not in line with that of the host's conscience.
