Mirror of Relics

The Mirror of Relics (speculum de reliquiae) is not an individual location, but an involuntary reaction to increased experience as a transeer.

When a transeer ascends to level 2, the brain normally realizes that it isn't entirely sure how to handle another layer of reality (so to speak). Therefore, it hastily creates some void where the conscience can choose a dream guide loosely based on fictional characters the conscience is already aware of. This void appears differently to different people, but it is generally referred to as the Mirror of Relics. Normally, this void cannot be re-entered, since the brain will refuse to remember exactly how it created this volatile space.
